Evolution of the Winter Olympic Games Logos – from 1924 till 2010
One year until the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada starts. I'm exited. I love the Olympic Games, summer and winter likewise.
So I wanted to see how the logo designs evolved from the very first Winter Games over the years.
The designs appear to have changed from monochromatic colors and design to multicolor ones.
The logo design seem to take on the trend to simpler and cleaner colors and shapes. Take a look at the logos from Winter Olympic Games 1924 till 2010.
France, Chamonix - 1924 (not a logo, but a poster advertising the event)
Switzerland, St. Moritz - 1928 (not a logo, but a poster advertising the event)
United States of America, Lake Placid - 1932
Germany, Garmisch-Partenkirchen - 1936
1940 and 1944 were canceled due the 2nd World War.

I wonder if this is something like an ink blot test? Well, I'll take my chance anyway. My favorite is the logo of Nagano. And now? what does it tell about me

. Just what your favorite logo is. I'm sure a psychologist can turn and twist it into a ink blot test. I don't.

Nagano is my favorite logo (and currently reside in Vancouver where all the buzz is Olympics 2010).
